I have to apologize for my lack of posts recently. There has been a lot going on in the past few months and this last month especially was a bit of a rough one. But I'm alive and well. Still kickin. For a quick "short story" update....since my brother's wedding (my last post): our family has had another wedding reception for them, were supposed to be out of our house at the end of April---got the lease extended till the end of May, so we had another month together!! YAY! And during that month we spent a lot of good time together. We went on trips to Dog Beach, Yogurt World (many times!), watched movies, went to Padre games and just enjoyed being together. At the end of May, we packed up and loaded all my parents things into storage. Due to some job changes, my parents are unable to get another place of their own right now, so we had to split up, which was hard. My parents are living with my aunt and uncle in Rancho Bernardo, my brother Scott went to China to teach English to 4-6 year olds for 7 months and my sister Julie and I are now living in Orange County with my in-laws. It is hard being away from everyone but we so appreciate all the hospitality that has been offered to all of us in our different places. This last weekend we were able to get together in San Diego for Julie's birthday! It was a great day and we had so much fun! We spent the whole day at the beach relaxing, reading, talking, eating, going for walks and just chillin!! That night we roasted hot dogs and S'mores and then after the beach we suprised Jules with a trip to Belmont Park to ride the coaster! It was awesome and we even got mom to ride it!!! Good job Mom!! After that we ended our night with sweet treats at Extraordinary Desserts. What a fun day!! Happy 23rd Birthday Jules! We love you!
That about brings things up to date for now. I have been missing Steve so much lately and am so excited for the day he comes back home to me!! We are already dreaming of all the fun things we will do when we are together again! It will be great! Hope everyone is doing well!
