Playin' in Hershey Pennsylvania!

Steve and I just got back from beautiful Pennsylvania! We went there to visit Steve's cousin and his family and also to see a friend of ours from BYU that we haven't seen in forever! We drove out Thursday, and got in by early evening. On Friday we met our friend, Danny, and he took us on a tour of his hometown, Hershey Pennsylvania! It was so much fun. I seriously felt like Charlie going to the Willy Wonka Chocolate Factory. We saw where all the yummy treats like Reese's, Kit Kats, and all kinds of Hershey chocolates are made, took a tour of the town by trolley, and got to see the school that Milton Hershey and his wife built for orphaned boys, that is still running today. It was such a beautiful town and all the Spring blossoms were out. It was gorgeous! Plus I loved how everything had to do with chocolate...even the street lamposts had Hershey's kisses on them. The Saturday highlights included: playing in the park with Derek & Hilary and their cute kids, Kenyon, Damon & Selah, Dr. Steve pulling out Kenyon's first loose tooth, going to Kenyon's baseball game, and of course the adventerous canoe trip on the Yellow Breeches River. The trip was wonderful! We loved being able to have so much fun with family and friends. We are lucky to be in a spot where we can drive to so many new, beautiful places!
