Anxiously Waiting.......

I cannot wait till Steve comes home. I have been able to find things to do with my time while he has been gone, but now it is time. One of my friends, whose husband was deployed in Afghanistan earlier this year mentioned that she was excited to do all the "little things" again with her husband. This is exactly how I feel. I can't wait to just eat dinner together in our home, sit outside and talk, go to a movie, I would even be excited about cleaning the basement or garage as long as I could do it with Steve. Last night I was at a baseball game and the girl next to me was holding hands with her husband and I was insanely jealous......not of her husband but just that they got to hold hands! I can't even imagine what that is like anymore. I'm looking forward to all these things and to just being able to live life with Steve again. Love you honey!!

I Am the Luckiest Girl!

Wanna know why.....???? Because I have the best husband in the world. Today we are celebrating our 8th anniversary and I feel so blessed. Being married to Steve is better than I ever imagined married life to be. I'm sad that we can't be together today to celebrate our day honey but know that I am thinking of you and loving you more today than the day I said yes!!!

I CAN SEE!!!

Yesterday I had Lasik Eye Surgery and for the past 24 hours my world has been in high def and absolutely beautiful! I am one happy girl! I have been wearing glasses since 4th grade, hard contact lenses since high school and have been dreaming about having Lasik since the very first time I heard about it. The procedure went well. I was mostly excited to have it, up until yesterday morning when I started to get pretty nervous about someone else all up in my eyeball. But it went well and I felt very taken care of by my surgeon, Dr. Tooma. My sister and mother-in-law got to watch my whole surgery on video as I was having it done. They also got to enjoy the fun I bring to the table when I'm on Xanex. Ha-Ha! Anyway, I am enjoying my perfect eyesight and am so grateful I was able to have this done! Now the next exciting thing I'm looking forward to is STEVE COMING HOME!!!! Not too much longer!!! It will be the highlight of my year--even over the Lasik!!
